Pal Enterprise

Pal Enterprise is tucked away at 129 Shaktigarh, right on Road No.- 5 in the Siliguri Bazar area. Being in Jalpaiguri district, we deal with a lot of rain and humidity, which is just how life is in this part of West Bengal. The shop isn’t huge, but we pack it full of whatever we’re dealing with at the time. Since we’re so close to the bazar, it’s always crowded outside. You hear the rickshaws and the people shouting all day long. It’s a lively spot to work in, even if it gets a bit cramped sometimes. We’ve been at this Shaktigarh location for years. My family started this, and we’ve just kept it going. The walls are lined with shelves and there’s barely enough room to walk if we have a big delivery coming in. We drink a lot of tea while we work, especially when the weather is damp. Customers usually just stop by because they’re already in the bazar for other things. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know us by word of mouth. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. Road No.- 5 can be a bit of a mess when it rains, with the puddles and the mud, but we just put on our boots and get to work. It’s honest work and we like being part of the local market scene here in Siliguri.
