Sgcon Realty Llp is based in the Niladiri Sikhar Building on Hill Cart Road in Siliguri. We are up on the 5th floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though we are usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. Hill Cart Road is always humming with activity, especially with all the people heading up toward the hills. Our space is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of folders stacked up in the corners. Working in real estate in this part of West Bengal means dealing with a lot of different types of land and buildings. We spend our days answering the phone and talking to folks who come by the office. The lift in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often end up waiting in the lobby chatting with people from the other offices. It is a local operation, nothing too fancy. We do not wear suits or have big boardrooms. It is mostly just us sitting around a table trying to figure out the best way to handle a client's request. We like the location because it is central and easy for people to find. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else. There is always a lot to do, but we take it one day at a time.
