Lawrence IT Solutions is up in Kurseong, in the Darjeeling district. We are on M V Road in Ward 10, right near Gandhi Gram. If you know where the Montiviout Ground is, we are very close to that. It is a beautiful area, but we spend most of our time inside looking at screens. The office is a small building that used to be something else before we moved in. We handle all sorts of IT tasks. Being in a hill station means the weather is usually nice, though it can get pretty foggy and damp sometimes. We don't have a corporate feel at all. It’s more like a group of friends working on stuff they enjoy. We get a lot of local people coming in with questions about their computers or websites. We just sit down and talk to them like normal people. No technical jargon if we can help it. It’s a quiet life here compared to the big cities. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who know our way around a server. We like being part of the community in Kurseong. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and the shopkeepers. We just keep the computers running and try to be helpful whenever someone needs some technical assistance. It is a simple life and a simple business.
