Sri Manjunath Foods & Packagings Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 33 in the Karnad Industrial Area, over in Mulki. Mulki is a nice enough place, but the industrial area is where all the actual heavy work happens. We are mostly focused on the packaging side of things for different food products. Our plot is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a good spot for a factory because it is out of the way. Inside, we have a lot of benches and various packing machines set up. It is usually a bit humid because we are not that far from the coast, so you feel it when you are working. The staff are mostly from around Mulki or the nearby towns, and they know the daily routine very well. We spend our days sorting through the materials and making sure the food items are packed up correctly according to whatever orders we have for that week. It is not a very complicated business, but it requires a lot of attention so nothing gets wasted or packed wrong. We do not have a big website or a social media person to talk about what we do. We just rely on the work we do every day. The industrial area is quite busy during the morning shift changes when everyone arrives. We have a small area where we keep the files, but mostly we are on the floor. It is a steady life here.
