Koastal Coconut Foods & Byproducts P.V.T L.T.D

We are located out in Kukkujadaka, which is a bit of a drive if you aren't from around Sullia. Being here in South Canara means we are surrounded by greenery and, of course, plenty of coconut trees. Koastal Coconut Foods & Byproducts P.V.T L.T.D started because we wanted to use every part of the nut, even the bits people usually throw away. It is a lot of work and the machines break down more often than I’d like. The humidity here can be brutal, making everything feel sticky by ten in the morning. We have a small crew from the nearby villages who help with the processing and packing. It is not a silent place; there is always a hum or a thud going on somewhere in the shed. We don’t have any big corporate meetings, just quick talks over tea in the yard. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck on the dirt road after a heavy rain, and we all have to go out and help push. It’s just how things are in this part of the country. We keep an eye on the batches ourselves to make sure nothing is spoiled. The office is just a small room with a fan that squeaks. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business and support our families. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but happy at the end of the day.
