Treat

We have been here on Link Road in Cuttack for a good while now. Most locals know our spot near Arundoya Nagar. It is a pretty busy area. We started this place because we wanted a simple spot for folks to eat without any big fuss or fancy talk. The kitchen is always moving from the morning. Some days it stays quiet for hours, but then suddenly every table is full of families or people stopping by after their work shifts. We do not do anything fancy here. It is just a regular restaurant. We try to keep the floors clean and make sure the food comes out hot for everyone. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the market was short that morning, but that is just how things go in a real kitchen. The staff has stayed with us for a long time, so they know most of the regulars by their first names. We usually keep a small TV on in the corner or maybe the radio. If you are walking down Link Road, you will see our sign. It is not a huge place, just enough room for a few groups to sit down and talk for a bit. We handle the cooking and you do the eating. That is pretty much the whole story. People come in, stay for a bit, and then head back out. It is a plain setup, nothing like those polished chains.
