Sri Purusottam Pharmacauticals

Sri Purusottam Pharmacauticals is situated right at Link Road, near the Arundoya Market. It is a busy location because Link Road is a main artery for the city. People are always coming and going from the market, so we see a lot of activity throughout the day. We have been here for many years, and the shop shows its age, but it is a place we are comfortable in. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to climb a rickety ladder to find a specific item. It is a bit of a daily challenge. The shop has that old-fashioned smell of paper and medicine. We do not bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that; we just wear our everyday clothes. Being near Arundoya Market means we get a mix of regular customers and people just passing through. We try to be helpful and point people in the right direction if they are looking for something we do not have. It is just how things are done here. We like the atmosphere of the market and the honesty of the neighborhood. There are no polished floors or bright lights here, just hard work and keeping things as organized as possible. We do all the sweeping and cleaning ourselves at the end of the day. It is a simple business and we like it that way.
