Kripal Pharma

Kripal Pharma sits over in the Chauliaganj area, specifically near Post Nayabazar. It is a bit of a maze around here with all the small lanes, but people know where we are. We have been at this spot for quite a bit of time now. The mornings are usually the busiest when everyone is heading out to work or the market. We spend a lot of time just sorting through boxes that come in from the distributors. The Post Nayabazar area is always humming with some kind of activity, whether it is a festival or just a busy market day. Inside the shop, it is mostly quiet except for the hum of the fan and the sound of the register. We keep the counter clean, though the floor gets some mud on it during the rainy season in Chauliaganj. It is just how things go. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when the crowd picks up. We do not use any fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still written down in the big ledger books. It feels more real that way, I think. Most of our neighbors stop by even if they do not need anything, just to say hello. We keep a few stools out front for anyone who needs a rest. By the time the sun sets over the rooftops, we are tired but it feels like a good day. It is a simple life for us here.
