Scan Steels Ltd

Our office for Scan Steels Ltd is located in Kali Gali, near the High Court Square in Cuttack. If you know Cuttack, you know how these old lanes are. It’s crowded and narrow, and you can always hear the sounds of the city right outside the window. We’ve been in this building for many years. It’s not a modern office by any means. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the furniture is pretty old, but it’s where we get everything done. Being so close to the High Court means there are always people around, and the energy is quite high. We handle a lot of the administrative side of our steel business from this spot. We spend a lot of time organizing logistics and making sure our legal paperwork is in order. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. We all just pitch in where needed. There’s no marketing department here; we just do our work and let that speak for itself. We drink a lot of chai from the local stall and talk to the neighbors about what’s happening in the city. It’s a very grounded way to run a company. We aren’t trying to be fancy or pretend we’re something we’re not. We’re just a Cuttack business doing what we’ve always done. The traffic outside is loud, but we’ve learned to work right through it.
