Jai Dadi Pharmaceuticals

The shop is right in the middle of Firingi Bazar, which is usually a bit of a mess with all the rickshaws and people coming and going. Jai Dadi Pharmaceuticals has been in this same spot for years. It’s not a large place, just enough room for the counters and all the tall shelves we’ve crammed with medicine boxes. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and talk, but other days everyone wants something at the same time. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you’ve ever walked through Firingi Bazar, you know how noisy it gets with the vendors shouting and the bells from the local shrines. We try to keep our inventory updated, though sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk and takes all evening to sort out. It’s a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We get all kinds of people coming in, some just looking for a specific brand their doctor wrote down. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The walls are mostly covered in old calendars and lists of stock. It’s just a plain business where we handle the distribution of meds to the local area. We stay open pretty late because people always seem to need things right when we’re about to close up. It is a simple life here.
