If you’ve ever been to Badambadi, you know it’s probably one of the busiest places you can find. The bus stand is right there, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting for their stops. Eris Pharma Company is located right in that mix. Working here means you’re never really in a quiet spot. We have people coming in all day long because of the central location. Most of us who work here have been in the area for years. We know where to get the best snacks nearby and which shortcuts to take when the traffic stops moving. The shop itself is packed with inventory from floor to ceiling. We have to use a ladder to reach the top shelves most of the time. It’s a bit cramped, but it works for what we need. We don’t have a big corporate feel at all. It’s more like a group of people working hard in a small space. We deal with a lot of local distributors and sometimes people just looking for directions to the bus stand. The floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking on it, and we probably should paint the walls again soon. But for now, we just keep on with the daily routine. Badambadi never sleeps, so we stay busy from the moment we open the doors until we finally close them at night. It's just how life is here in the heart of Cuttack.
