Rahmath Cover Blocks

You can find Rahmath Cover Blocks over on Kamsala Street. The address is 3-2-146, which is right off Rayachoti Road. It’s an older part of the area I suppose, and the street can be a bit narrow for some of the bigger vehicles. We’ve been operating from here for a while and the neighbors are all used to the sounds of the work. Making cover blocks isn't exactly a quiet job, but we try not to be too loud too early in the morning. The space we have is filled with the blocks and the materials we need. It’s dusty work and we all end up covered in gray by the afternoon. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a small corner where we keep the ledger and take the calls. People come by Kamsala Street to check on things or pick up what they need. We usually have some tea around four and just talk about whatever is going on in the town. It’s a very local thing, nothing corporate about it at all. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things higher than we’d like. The Rayachoti Road traffic is usually a constant hum in the background while we work. It’s a hard job but it’s what we know how to do, so we just keep at it day after day. We just hope for good weather so the blocks dry fast.
