Lakshmi Narasimha Bricks

Out here at 23-1-2 in the Industrial Development Area, things are always a bit dusty. That’s just the way it is when you’re running Lakshmi Narasimha Bricks. We spend our days dealing with raw materials and making sure the batches come out okay. It’s heavy work, and it’s definitely not for everyone. The sun beats down on the yard, and we’re out there in the middle of it most of the time. We don't have a fancy front office with air conditioning. Usually, if you want to talk to us, you’ll find us near the loading area or checking on the inventory. We’ve been in this IDA spot for a good while, and we’ve seen the businesses around us change, but we’re still here doing the same thing. People know us for being reliable, mostly because we don't try to be anything we aren't. We just make bricks. There are no big speeches about our values or anything like that. We just want to make sure that when a truck leaves here, the load is what it should be. The neighbors around here are all doing similar types of work, so we all understand the grind. Sometimes the power goes out, or a machine breaks down, and we just have to fix it and keep moving. It’s a simple life, focused on production and making sure the yard stays functional for the next day.
