Selva Industries

We are located out at 523 Panruti Main Road in the Sathipattu area. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with the trucks going back and forth all day. Selva Industries is basically a group of us who have been working here for quite some time. The building is simple, nothing more than what we need to get the manufacturing done. Panruti is known for certain things, and we just try to fit into the local economy the best we can. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually start quite early to beat the sun. Most of our workers live nearby in the village or just a short bike ride away. We deal with the usual problems of running an industry, like keeping the machines maintained and making sure the supplies arrive on time. It’s not always easy, but we’ve got a good routine down now. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word usually gets around through people we know. People stop by the gate sometimes to ask about what we’re doing. We just tell them we’re making parts and keeping busy. The road outside can be a bit bumpy, but it leads right to where we need to be. It’s just a standard day-to-day operation where we try to stay consistent and pay attention to the details.
