Arunashar Nursery & Primary School

Arunashar Nursery & Primary School is on the New By Pass Road in Tiruvannamalai. Being on the bypass road means we see a lot of lorries and cars going by, but our school is set back a little. We handle the younger kids, the ones in nursery and primary levels. Because they are small, the furniture is also small. We have little chairs and tables for them to sit at. The classrooms are often filled with the sound of kids singing or practicing their letters. It can get quite loud, but that is just how it is with little ones. We have 606601 as our area code. The building is simple and we try to keep it clean, though children always find a way to make a mess with crayons or clay. There is a small space out front where parents wait in the afternoon to pick them up. Some of the kids are a bit shy when they first start, but they eventually get used to the teachers and the other children. We don't have anything like a big cafeteria; the kids just eat their snacks at their desks. It is a modest school that serves the families nearby. We just aim to get through the day's lessons and make sure everyone is safe and learning their basics before they head home to their parents and the evening begins.
