Latha Tea Traders

Latha Tea Traders is located at Valli Illam on Cornwall Road in Alwarpet. It is an old building with a lot of stories. We use the ground floor for our tea business. Alwarpet is a nice neighborhood, and we have many regulars who stop by just to say hello. We don't have a big storefront with neon lights. It's a bit more subtle than that. Inside, we have shelves filled with different teas and some scales for weighing things out. We spend our mornings sorting through the new arrivals and making sure everything is labeled right. It is not a high-speed environment. We take our time to make sure things are done correctly. Sometimes we sit down and have a cup ourselves while we talk about the day's tasks. We aren't interested in being a huge corporation. We like being a local business where we know people's names. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cars, but it's peaceful inside Valli Illam. We've been here for many years and have seen the area change quite a bit. But our way of doing things hasn't changed much. We just focus on the tea and the people who come to see us. It’s a simple life and it suits us just fine. Most days are pretty good here.
