Shivam Steel

Shivam Steel is situated right at Dhupguri More in Falakata. Being in the Alipurduar district, we see a lot of people passing through this junction every day. It’s a noisy, dusty place sometimes, especially with all the steel moving around, but it’s home to us. We’ve got our yard set up here and we spend most of our hours loading and unloading stuff. It’s heavy work, and nobody here wears a suit. We are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the shift. The office is just a small room where we keep the papers, nothing you’d call impressive. We just try to get the orders filled as they come in. People from around the district know us because we’ve been at this spot for a long time. We don't do much advertising. Most folks just hear about us from someone else or see the sign when they drive past the More. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us and our families. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rain hits the yard, but we manage. If you need to find us, just look for the steel stacks near the crossroads. We are usually around from early morning until the sun starts to go down. It's just a regular local shop doing what we know how to do without any complicated overhead or corporate nonsense.
