Vmc Setter

Vmc Setter is located at 91/55 on Auto Nagar 2nd Street in Itayarpalayam. Being in Coimbatore, we are surrounded by a lot of other mechanical and industrial shops. Our street is always busy with people moving parts around and the sound of tools. We set up VMC machines and handle the programming that goes with it. The shop is small and often feels a bit cramped because of all the equipment we have squeezed in there. We don't have a front desk or a secretary. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. We spend most of our time looking at screens or tweaking the machines to get the settings just right. It’s technical work but we explain it in plain English to anyone who asks. We have been in this part of Coimbatore for quite a bit. The local guys know they can drop by if they have a problem with their setup. We don't have any brochures or a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and some old posters. It’s a very practical way to run a business. We start early and usually finish when the work is done. It is a bit loud and messy sometimes, but that’s the nature of the work. We just focus on getting the machines to run like they are supposed to. We take it one machine at a time and stay until the job is finished.
