Our place is at No. 37 Annamali Nagar, right off Mettupalayam Road. If you know the road, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of town with vehicles always moving. We’ve got the shop set up there for all the engineering work we handle. It’s a typical workshop environment with metal scraps, welding machines, and that constant smell of cutting oil in the air. We handle a huge variety of jobs, mostly for local people who need specific metal parts made or their machines maintained. Mettupalayam Road always has something going on, so there’s a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by. We don't mind the noise much anymore. The shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s definitely not a fancy showroom for customers to lounge in. It’s a place where real work gets done. Sometimes the floor is a bit of a mess when we’re in the middle of a big project, but we try to clean up when things slow down. We have a few steady workers who have been with us for years and know exactly how the machines work. We just take the orders as they come and try to finish them on time. It’s a simple business model without any big slogans or promises. If you need something fixed or fabricated, you just drop by Annamali Nagar and we’ll see what we can do. That’s how we’ve always run things here in the neighborhood.
