M. N. R. Exports

Over at No. 2/25 Kanchi Maanagar near Vilankurichi Post, we have our setup for M. N. R. Exports. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main city, but we stay busy. We spend most of our hours looking at registers and making sure the items we are exporting are actually ready to go. There is always a lot to do with packing and labeling. We started this because we knew how to move goods from one place to another. It isn’t always easy. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery gets delayed, and we have to figure it out on the fly. We are just a small group of people working here. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just talk over what needs to happen today and then we do it. The office in Kanchi Maanagar is where we spend most of our lives, really. We see the same faces every day and we like it that way. When someone asks about M. N. R. Exports, we just show them the stacks of crates ready for the post. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the floor gets messy when a big shipment comes in. That’s just part of the job. We don’t mind the hard work as long as things get where they need to go.
