We’ve been set up here in Gudalore for quite a while now. It’s a quiet spot in the Nilgiris, specifically over in the Alavayal Padanthorai area. Most of the people around here know the region for its beautiful green views and the cool air, but we spend most of our time handling the export and import side of things. It is not a fancy office by any means, just a practical place where we get the daily work done. Being tucked away in the hills means things move a certain way, usually a bit slower than the big cities, but we manage just fine. Acube Exim Pvt. Ltd. is basically us trying to connect what is made or grown around this region with people in other places. We deal with shipping stuff back and forth across different borders. Sometimes the weather gets a bit messy on the roads up here, especially when the mist rolls in, which makes the logistics side of things quite interesting to say the least. It’s just a small team running the whole show. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist to greet you. It’s just a few desks, some phones, and a lot of paperwork to track. Most days it’s about making sure the containers are exactly where they need to be. We’ve learned a lot about how the trade world works just by doing it every single day. It is hard work, but we really like being based in this part of the country.
