Alayam Exports

Alayam Exports is located at No. 70/201-k2 in Poombhukar Nagar, which is part of the Teachers Colony in Karamadai. It’s a nice residential area, so it’s much more peaceful than the industrial zones. We basically converted part of the property into our workspace. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and an office. You might see some laundry hanging out back while we are checking on export orders in the front. We like it this way because it’s comfortable and we don't have a long commute. The office is mostly just a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with various goods and the paperwork can get a bit overwhelming sometimes, especially when the regulations change. We spend a lot of time on the computer but we also have to go out and check the crates quite often. Karamadai is a good spot because it’s not too far from the main transport routes but still feels like a small town. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights outside. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing where the Teachers Colony is. It’s a very quiet way to run a business. We drink a lot of coffee during the day and try to stay on top of the schedule. It is just a regular life for us, nothing too special. We just do the job and stay out of trouble.
