You’ll find us at New No. 224/451 on Kamarajar Road. It’s right in the Peelamedu Post area of the city. This part of town is usually buzzing with traffic and people going about their business. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now, so we've seen the neighborhood change a lot. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well for what we do. We go by Vijayagopals Engineering Co., though most folks around here just know us as the guys on the corner. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of heavy parts and a few sturdy workbenches. It isn't one of those modern glass offices you see in the city center these days. It’s more of a hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time looking at technical drawings and measuring things out by hand. Sometimes the shop floor gets a bit cluttered, especially when we have three or four different projects going at once. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to talk to them. It’s more personal that way, we think. The tea man comes by twice a day, which is the highlight for most of the staff. We like the area because it’s easy for people to find us. Kamarajar Road is a major path for everyone. We just focus on the engineering and keep the shop running.
