Meenakshi Engineering Industries

Our workshop for Meenakshi Engineering Industries is spread out across a few spots, but you can mostly find us at the Ganapathy Ma-Nagar area or over at the industrial estate in Peelamedu. It's a lot of address names to remember, like Mc 671 in the 3rd block or the spot on Venkataswarny Naidu Industrial Estate in Bharathy Colony. The main thing is that we are always surrounded by the sound of machinery. We’ve got drills, grinders, and heavy tools all over the place. It's definitely not a quiet environment. We spend our shift wearing heavy boots and keeping an eye on the production line. Peelamedu is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other factories around here. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the afternoon, and we have to sweep it all up before we head home. We don't have much time for sitting around. Usually, there's a deadline for a batch of parts that needs to be met. The heat from the machines can be quite a lot during the summer months, but we just keep the fans running and stay hydrated. We've been doing industrial work for a long time, so we know our machines inside and out. It's tough, physical work, and it's definitely not for everyone. But for us, there’s something good about seeing a pile of raw material turn into finished parts by the end of the shift.
