You can find Dee Jay Exporters over at B- 8/82 in the Esi Quarters area of Varatharajapuram. Our office is located right in that neighborhood, which makes it feel more like a community business than a corporate one. We spend our time working on export deals, mostly making sure products get to where they need to go without getting held up. It's not a fancy job, and our office reflects that. It's just a practical space where we can focus. Being in the Esi Quarters is convenient for us, and we’ve been here long enough that we know the layout well. We don't have a big team of sales people or a bunch of managers. It is just us doing the daily tasks that come with shipping things abroad. There are always challenges, like changing rules or shipping prices going up, but we just take it one day at a time. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just help move goods. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of schedules. Sometimes the work follows us home because the time zones are different, but that’s just part of the trade. We are happy to be based in Varatharajapuram and plan on continuing our work here for as long as possible. It is a steady, honest way to make a living. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a commitment to getting the job done.
