V R Ads is tucked away in Ramachandra Layout, specifically at No 345 in the Ram Nagar area of Coimbatore. We are pretty easy to find if you look for the Rayappa Hotel; we are right near it. Most of us here have lived in Coimbatore our whole lives, so we like the local feel of this neighborhood. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. It’s often quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. You won't find any glossy brochures or fancy slogans on our walls. We just have our calendars and a few notes taped up to remind us what needs to happen by the end of the week. Working in advertising sounds like it might be flashy, but for us, it’s mostly about making sure the prints look right and the colors aren't off. We talk to a lot of local shop owners and people around the layout. Sometimes they just drop by for a quick word or to ask for directions. We don’t mind. It feels good to be part of a real community where people know each other by name. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to do a decent job for the folks who come to us and make sure we can pay the bills at the end of the month.
