The Laune

You can find The Laune at No 5, Hindustan Avenue in Udayampalayam. We’re right across the street from Hindustan Arts College, so there are always a lot of students around. It’s a lively spot in Coimbatore. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the college schedule. Our place isn't anything too fancy. We just have what we need to get the work done. We handle various tasks, mostly focused on the people in the neighborhood and the college crowd. It’s a small space, and we keep it fairly casual. There’s no dress code or anything like that. We just show up and start working. Sometimes we have a lot of people coming in at once, and other times it’s just us. The avenue is nice because it has some trees, which helps with the heat. We don’t do a lot of advertising ourselves; people usually just see our sign or hear about us from someone else. It’s a bit of a mix of things we do here, but it keeps us busy. We like being in Udayampalayam. It feels like a good spot to be. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one that’s easy to get to. We’re usually there from morning till the college shuts down for the day.
