Sree Gokul Events

Our shop is at number 55 in Amman Nagar, right over in Podanur. If you know where the Muthu Maari Amman Kovil is, you can find us pretty easy because we are just nearby. We do event stuff, mostly planning things out and making sure people have what they need for their functions. It’s a lot of running around, to be honest. Some days are quiet and we just sit in the shop, and other days we’re out all over Coimbatore. Being in Podanur is nice because it feels a bit more like a community. We see the same faces every day. We aren't some giant agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a small group of us trying to make sure things go okay for whatever party or gathering someone is having. Sometimes the decorations take longer than we thought, or a delivery is late, but that’s just how this business goes. We’ve been doing this for a bit now. The temple nearby usually has something going on too. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but not too bad. We keep our supplies in the back. It’s messy sometimes, with all the cloth and lights, but we know where everything is. We just focus on the work at hand. No big speeches or anything, just doing the setups and clearing them out when it's done. We usually have some tea around four and talk about what needs doing tomorrow.
