Our workshop is at No 39 in the Angammal Layout in Neelikonamapalaym. It is a proper engineering space, so expect to see a lot of metal scraps and heavy tools lying around. We spend our days working on different mechanical parts and fixing things that people bring in. The layout is a mix of houses and small businesses, so we try to keep the noise down at odd hours, though drilling and grinding is just part of the job. The building is an older one, but it has enough space for our lathes and welding equipment. It’s usually just a few of us here, wearing our work clothes and getting grease on our hands. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; if someone comes by, they usually just walk up to the main door and shout hello over the machines. We’ve been at this location for some time now. It’s a practical place for what we do. The lighting isn't the best, but we have work lamps where we need them. We handle a variety of small and medium engineering tasks. It’s honest work and we like the feeling of finishing a piece that fits just right. People around Neelikonamapalaym know where to find us when something needs a repair or a custom fit. It’s a busy, messy, and productive shop where we just focus on getting the machining right.
