Alex Engineering

We are over at No 57 on Kattabomman Street. It’s in the Ganapathi So area. Alex Engineering is just a small local shop. We don’t have much space, but we make the most of it. The street is usually pretty busy with bikes and people walking past. We’ve got our machines set up in the front and a bit of storage in the back. It’s a typical setup for a place like ours. We spend our days grinding, drilling, and measuring. There is no air conditioning, just the breeze coming through the open door if we are lucky. Most of the people around Kattabomman Street know us by now. We don't do any big advertising. Word just gets around that we are here at number 57. The work is steady and we like it that way. We aren't the type to use fancy English or write long letters. We just write down what needs doing on a scrap of paper and get to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute. It’s a friendly enough place. We have some old metal crates stacked up and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't affect the engineering. We focus on the metal and the machines. If you need something fixed or made, you can just walk in. We are usually there from morning until late evening.
