Our place is in Subbu Complex, right on Thadagam Road. We are at number 396. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially during the school run times. Tranquil Exports has been here for a while. Despite the name, it isn't always that tranquil inside the office when the phones are ringing and everyone is trying to meet a deadline. The complex is one of those older concrete buildings that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on Coimbatore. We have a lot of shelves filled with folders and some samples of the stuff we send out. We don’t have any of those fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some local tea bags. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating between the manufacturers and the buyers. It involves a lot of checking and re-checking details. We make mistakes sometimes, like anyone else, but we always try to fix them quickly. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. We know most of the people in the neighboring offices. It’s a practical location for us because the bank and the post office are just a short walk away. We aren't looking to become a giant global firm; we just want to keep things running smoothly and keep our regulars happy. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from nine to six every day.
