The Heart & Lung Clinic

The Heart & Lung Clinic is located right in the Swagat Charu Building on Cowley Brown Road. We are up in unit 3 A, which is easy enough to find once you get inside the building. RS Puram is usually pretty busy, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out running errands. Our space isn't very large, but it has everything we need to do our daily work. There are a few chairs in the waiting area that have been there for years. The walls are a simple off-white color and we have some old posters up about health stuff. You can hear the traffic from Cowley Brown Road humming outside most of the afternoon. It gets a little warm in here during the summer months, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. We spend most of our time at the main desk or in the back rooms with the patients. It is a plain place without any fancy decorations or shiny furniture. Most of the folks who come in are from the local neighborhood and they know us by name. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure everyone gets seen. The building itself is an older one, so the elevator is a bit slow sometimes. We’ve grown used to the quirks of the place. It is just a regular office where we show up every morning to do our jobs.
