The Event Factory

We are located at No 148 E in the Salem Complex on Avinashi Road. Being in the Peelamedu area, specifically near Hope College, means there are always students and buses moving around outside. The Event Factory is our little corner of the world. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if the traffic on Avinashi Road is bad, which it usually is during peak hours. Our office is filled with leftover bits and pieces from various things we’ve worked on—rolls of tape, fabric samples, and old posters. It looks a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We aren't the type of people to sit around in meetings all day. Usually, someone is running out the door to check on something while someone else is trying to track down a delivery. It’s a lot of physical work and standing on your feet. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished way of speaking. We just tell people what we can do and then we try our best to make it happen. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck arriving late, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just the reality of what we do. We like the grit and the challenge of it all. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we’re used to the pace by now. We just do the work.
