The Container Cafe

Our little spot is at 87 Neelagiri. It’s called The Container Cafe, which gives you a pretty good idea of what it looks like. It’s not one of those massive restaurants with a huge menu and hundreds of tables. We keep things pretty small and simple here. Usually, there’s a couple of us behind the counter making coffee or getting some food ready for whoever walks in. It can get a bit crowded when a few people show up at once because the space is tight. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations, just some chairs and tables that we thought looked okay. Most of the people who come by are regulars from around the area who just want a quiet place to sit for a few minutes. Sometimes the milk delivery is late or the coffee machine needs a bit of a kick to start, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the most famous place in the city. We just like having a spot where people can get a decent drink and a snack without any fuss. The weather at Neelagiri can be nice, so sometimes people just hang out outside. We do all the cleaning and the cooking ourselves. It’s a lot of work but seeing people enjoy a simple meal makes it worth it. It’s just a local cafe run by people who live nearby.
