Tamilnadu Exports

You can find us at No. 272 on R G Street, right in Gangavar Lane. It is one of those narrow streets that gets pretty crowded during the day. Tamilnadu Exports has been based in this building for quite a bit. It’s an old place with high ceilings, which helps keep it cool when the sun is beating down outside. We handle a lot of different types of exports, so the work changes from week to week. Some days we are dealing with textiles, other days it might be something else entirely. It keeps us on our toes. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. My brother and I mostly run the day-to-day things, along with a couple of helpers. We don't use much fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done. The neighborhood is full of energy, and there is always a lot of noise from the street. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. We don't go in for big marketing talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. If a shipment is going to be late, we call and say so. People seem to appreciate that kind of honesty. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us so far. We just keep our heads down and get the crates ready.
