Sv Greens

Here in Coimbatore, things stay pretty busy for us at Sv Greens. We work with a lot of plants and green stuff, which is how we got our name. It’s not just a job for us, it is more like a way of life because plants don't stop growing just because it’s the weekend. We spend a lot of time outside or in the sheds checking on things. The weather in Coimbatore helps, but it still takes a lot of water and regular attention. We started out small and we haven't changed that much, even if we do more now than we used to. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly what to do without being told much. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people our way. If the stock looks good, people buy it. That’s the simplest way to put it. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, and other times there is too much of it, which makes for a lot of muddy boots. We just take the seasons as they come. Our place isn't particularly fancy, it’s just a functional spot where we can grow things and keep them healthy. Most mornings start with a walk through the rows to see what needs the most help. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. We just keep planting and hoping for the best.
