Ram Exports

Our place is out in Elayamuthur Village, which is just a short drive from Udumalpet. We’ve got a spot at number 90. Being out in the village means we are close to where everything is grown and harvested. We handle exports, which might sound like it involves a lot of international traveling, but mostly we are just here in the warehouse making sure things are packed up right. The pace is a bit slower here than it is in the city, which we actually prefer. We work with a lot of the local farmers around Udumalpet. We’ve known some of these families since we were kids. It’s a very small, tight-knit community. Our warehouse is simple and practical, just enough to keep the rain off the goods and provide some shade. We don’t have any fancy software or high-tech systems to run things. We mostly just use notebooks and a couple of old computers. It works perfectly fine for us. The trucks come by a few times a week to pick up whatever is ready to go. We spend a lot of our time outside in the yard. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot and dusty, but it’s what we know how to do. We aren’t looking to become some massive global corporation or anything. We just want to keep things moving and make sure the quality of the exports stays where it should be. It is just simple village life.
