Balakerthika Traders

You can find Balakerthika Traders at No. 126 on Swarnapuri Avenue Main Street. We are in the Marappa Gounder Layout in the 15 Velampalayam area. The neighborhood is quite busy with a lot of trading going on. Our building is a simple one-story structure. The front door is usually propped open with a heavy brick to let some air flow through. We have been here for several years. It started as a very small operation and grew a little bit over time, but we still feel like a small local shop. There are piles of goods stacked up almost to the ceiling in the back room. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you need right away, but we know where everything is eventually. We don't use much technology here, just a basic phone and a big ledger book. My brother and I run the daily stuff. We don't have uniforms or a fancy reception desk. If you come in, you’ll probably see us sorting through stock or talking to a truck driver. The street outside is often very dusty because of all the construction nearby. We try to keep the place clean, but it’s a losing battle most days. We just focus on getting the right items to the right people. It's practical work. We don't have time for fancy talks or big promises. We just wake up, open the shop, and see what the day brings. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since the start.
