Surabhi Granites

Surabhi Granites is located at No:223 on Thadagam Main Road. We are right across from JM Hospital in the Kng Pudur area. It’s a pretty busy part of the road, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front gate. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Most days you’ll find us out in the front where we keep the granite on display so people driving by can see what’s in stock. Being near the hospital means we have people around at all hours, though we usually close up when the sun goes down. The yard is filled with various types of granite slabs, and we spend a lot of time rearranging them to make room for new arrivals. It’s not the cleanest job in the world—there’s always a bit of grit and dust on everything—but we don't mind it. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics or anything like that. If a customer comes in, we just talk to them about what they need and show them the different patterns we have. Sometimes we have to move several heavy slabs just to get to one that someone wants to see more closely. It’s a lot of physical work, but it keeps us busy. We like being in this part of Kng Pudur and being a regular fixture on Thadagam road. We just try to keep things honest and the yard running smoothly every day.
