Oswal Granites

Our place, Oswal Granites, is at 721/5A on Karamadai Road in the Mettupalayam area. We have been at this specific spot for quite some time, and many people around here know us by now. The yard is almost always full of slabs that we have brought in from various places, and we spend a good chunk of our time just moving things around so we can actually walk through the aisles. Granite is heavy and hard to handle, so we have to be really careful not to chip any of the edges when we are using the cranes or moving things by hand. It is a lot of sweat but we don't mind. We are not a large company with a lot of layers. It is just a few of us making sure the daily tasks get finished. Some days are much busier than others, especially when we get a large shipment in and have to scramble to find space for everything. Mettupalayam can get very humid, so we try to do the hardest physical work early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. We have a small shed where we keep some of the pieces that shouldn't get wet. If you are looking for us, just head down Karamadai Road and look for the 721/5A sign. We do not do any big advertising; most people just stop by because they saw us while driving or heard about us from a friend.
