We've been here at Richard Street for a while now. Most days it’s just us working on various machine parts and fixing things people bring in. It's not a fancy place, just a shop in Nggo Colony where we get the job done. Sometimes the orders are big, sometimes it's just one or two small pieces for a local project. We started out with just a few tools and grew slowly over the years. People around here know where to find us. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Usually, someone tells a friend and then they show up at our door at 4/67. It gets noisy with the drills and lathes going, but that's just how engineering work is. We try to keep things organized, though it's hard when you're busy all day. Most of our guys have been doing this a long time and they know the machines inside out. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace and a desk for paperwork. It's straightforward work. We take the measurements, look at the drawings, and start cutting or welding whatever is needed. It’s practical work for people who need stuff built right. We’re usually here early in the morning getting everything ready for the day's tasks. If you walk by Richard Street, you'll probably hear us working. It's just what we do every day.
