If you find yourself on Kamaraj Road, you will see us at number 34-A. It is an old street with a lot of history and we have been part of it for a good while. The shop front is pretty basic. We have some shelves and a counter where we deal with people coming in. Mostly we are selling parts and equipment that other businesses need to keep their own operations going. It is not the kind of place where you come for a fancy shopping experience. Usually, a customer comes in with a part number or a broken piece of metal and asks if we have a replacement. We spend a lot of time looking through the stock in the back room. It is a bit disorganized back there, honestly, but we know where most things are hidden. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door when the monsoon hits hard, so we have to move some boxes around. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to packing up crates for shipping. Kamaraj Road is always loud with traffic, so we keep the front door closed mostly. It’s just a simple business trying to get the right items to the people who need them. Nothing more to it than that, really. We have some regular customers who have been coming here for decades and they usually stay for a quick chat.
