Tussor Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd is located at 1/247, Avinashi Road, right by the Neelambur Post area. Being on Avinashi Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by our gate at all hours. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s filled with heavy iron parts and the large tools we use to make machines. The floor is thick concrete because it has to support some very heavy weight. You’ll see plenty of metal chips on the ground near the cutting stations. It’s not a place for nice shoes or clean clothes. The staff here is used to the heavy lifting and the noise of the grinders. We have a small office space at the front, but it’s mostly for keeping the books and taking orders over the phone. Sometimes the mail takes a bit longer to reach us because of the Neelambur Post location, but we make do. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have the technical diagrams that the guys use for reference. In the afternoons, when the sun is hitting the roof, it gets quite warm inside, so we have a few big fans blowing to keep the air moving. We’ve been at this for a while, and we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a practical way of living, making machine tools day in and day out.
