Electromec Machinery Manufactures P Ltd.

We are located at S.F. No.374/2, on 5th Street in Jothi Nagar, Uppilipalayam. It’s tucked away a bit, but once you find 5th street, we’re easy to spot. We build machinery here. The workshop is quite large and we have various stations for welding, cutting, and assembly. It’s a noisy place most of the time with all the metal work going on. We have a group of workers who are really skilled with their hands. Most of them have been doing this for twenty years or more. We don't have any formal uniforms, just whatever clothes people are comfortable working in. We usually have a short break in the morning for tea and a longer one for lunch. There’s a small temple nearby where it’s quiet if anyone needs a break from the noise for a few minutes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or goals written on the walls. We just want to build machines that don't break down on the customers. If someone has a problem, they call us and we figure it out together. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. The area around Uppilipalayam has grown a lot lately, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. It’s a bit dusty and the power fluctuates sometimes, but we make it work. We’re just a bunch of regular people making machines for other businesses.
