Subhiksha Jewellers

Subhiksha Jewellers is located at No 4/29 in the Venkatanayaki Complex. We are on Kalpana Theatre Road in Kavundampalayam. If you’re looking for us, we are right near Palamudir Nilayam, which most people in the area know. The complex is a bit of a maze if you’re new, but once you find our door, it’s easy enough. We’ve been in this part of Kavundampalayam for a bit, and it’s a busy little stretch of road. There’s always the sound of bikes and cars going past toward the theatre. Our shop is pretty basic. We have the usual glass cases and a few stools for people to sit on. We spend our time cleaning the gold and checking the stones. It’s not a quiet job, especially with the neighbors always popping in to say hi. The air conditioning works most of the time, but on the really hot days, it struggles a bit. We don't have any big flashy advertisements. We just rely on people seeing the sign when they go to the market or the cinema. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see the same two or three of us here every day. We keep the books by hand mostly, and we know where every single item is kept without having to look it up. It’s just a regular, working-class jewelry shop that serves the local folks around Kalpana Theatre Road.
