R. M. Jewel Crafts

Out here at No. 53-a on Samy Iyer New Street, things stay pretty busy for us. This is where R. M. Jewel Crafts is located, tucked inside K. C. Thottam. It’s not a very long street, but there is always a lot of activity with people coming and going. We have been here for a while now, and our workshop is basically where we spend all our time. It is a humble place, honestly. We have our tools and our benches, and not much else in the way of decoration. We focus on the jewelry making itself. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, but you get used to the sounds of the city after a few weeks. The lighting in our workspace is something we pay a lot of attention to because the work is so detailed. We don’t have a big sign or anything too fancy outside the door. If you are looking for us, you just have to find the right number in the Thottam. It feels like a good spot to work because we are close to everything we need. Most days are just spent sitting at the bench, working through whatever orders or pieces are in front of us. It’s manual work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the week. We don't really do much in the way of fancy talk or big promises.
