Suba Beauty Parlour

You will find us at 413 on 2nd Street Extension in Gandhipuram, right near the Sona Hotel. Suba Beauty Parlour has been here for a good while, serving the women who live and work in this part of Coimbatore. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a pretty straightforward path once you know where the hotel is. The shop itself is just a regular, small room where we do all the standard parlour work like facials, hair styling, and threading. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. It is just a few of us who know how to do the work and we’ve been doing it for years. The place isn't very big, so it feels a bit cramped when we have more than a couple of people waiting, but we manage. We’ve got a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened. It’s the kind of place where people feel comfortable enough to just sit and chat while they wait their turn. We don't try to be anything we're not; we are just a local parlour doing our thing every day. Sometimes the street outside is busy with deliveries and people heading to the hotel, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be part of the Gandhipuram community.
