Sree Jayam Catering & Event Management is tucked away in Vanji Amman Nagar III, over in the Gandhi Nagar area of Chinnavedampatti. We are right opposite Cheran Machines India Pvt Ltd, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. This part of Coimbatore is where we do most of our work. We do both the food side and the organizing side of events. Cooking for a large group of people is never easy, and the kitchen gets pretty hot and loud, but we have a routine down now. We started small, mostly doing food for neighbors, and it just grew into a full event management thing over the years. We don't use any pre-made stuff if we can help it; we like to keep things simple and traditional. The event part means we also look after the tents and the seating. It is a lot of physical labor, especially when we have two or three bookings on the same weekend. We are just a local crew of cooks and workers who have been together for a while. We don't have a polished website or a big sales pitch. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us after a wedding or a temple function. We just show up, do the cooking, set the tables, and make sure everyone has enough to eat before we pack up and head home to rest for the next job.
