Santha Exports

Somanur is a small place, and everyone knows where Car Street is. We are at number 119 C. The street gets its name because of the temple car that passes through during festivals. When that happens, the whole area gets very crowded and we usually can't get much done. But on regular days, it's a quiet enough spot. We run Santha Exports from here. It’s a simple building with a lot of character. We have some wooden tables and a few shelves for all the documents. The floor is old-fashioned tile, and it stays relatively cool. We spend our hours tracking shipments and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit and wait or do the manual work. We have a small back room for storing samples and other things. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us making sure everything goes where it’s supposed to. We usually get our lunch from home and eat together. The air in Somanur feels a bit different than the city, a bit more open. We’ve been at this address for years and don’t plan on moving. It’s where we feel comfortable. There’s a rhythm to the work here that just feels right. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the work we do every day.
