You can find Solar Powertech Solutions at Unit 17 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Kurichi. It is a typical industrial setup with long rows of sheds and workshops. We focus on solar power systems here. Most of our day is spent handling technical equipment or putting together different parts for an installation. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to see people in suits and ties. We wear our work clothes because we are always moving heavy batteries or panels around. The estate is a little bit away from the main city traffic, which gives us the room we need to work. We have a small group of guys who have been doing this for years. We do not really do any advertising. Most of the people who come to us heard about us from a neighbor or saw one of our installations down the street. Our workbench in the back is usually a mess of wires and tools, but we know exactly where everything is when we need it.
